A downloadable game

Dreamer: Apocalypse is a 4-page solo tabletop role-playing game that helps players create short catastrophic or apocalyptic stories using their dreams and a tarot deck. Estimated playtime is around 5-10 minutes each run.

If you're struggling to find inspiration for a story or game you want to make, or just want some quick storytelling fun, try this game! Create a few quick scenarios and see which ones catch your attention.

Dreamer: Apocalypse is part of a series of short solo ttrpgs, each with different themes using the player’s dreams and a tarot deck. One game will be developed and released each month.

Requirements

  • Tarot deck (Major Arcana only)
  • Pen and paper for journaling
  • Dream journal (optional)

No Tarot Deck?

No problem! Try using an online random number generator for numbers 0-21. The number for each tarot card is marked in the charts.

Content Warnings

This is a game of catastrophes, so expect a lot of uncomfortable themes, including: Death, violence, war, imprisonment, illness, loss of autonomy or control, religious and occult themes, and more.

Remember there are multiple options to choose from. If you become uncomfortable with any themes, you are always welcome to choose another option or redraw.
